Chandrananda is a music lover with an ear for those special tracks. Her style is fluid and varied. She fuses electronic tunes with world-influenced grooves, psy-dub beats and melodic sounds that touch the listener’s soul. Depending on the party vibe and on her mood she journeys through different styles sometimes playing up-beat tunes, other times taking people on a dreamy journey into more ambient moods. Her sets are fresh and spontaneous and she prefers to engage the dance floor more than to respond to it. Her enthusiasm for playing music at psy-parties has constantly grown, and in a short time she has become a favorite DJ in the chill-out rooms in the London psychedelic scene, but her heart goes to the vibrant underground squat scene, which she stumbled upon in 2001, bringing a significant transformation into her life. Chandrananda is a resident DJ at the Psychedelic Circle and Acid Monkey parties. She is also a resident DJ for Fluid-Radio. Her name means Blissful Moonlight.
