Nolan Shmolan [London/United Kingdom]

This bio belongs to Nolan Luijten aka Nolan Shmolan - a drummer, DJ, producer, bookworm and human being based in London. Nolan has had a diverse musical background (at the age of 12 he got his first drum kit and started to play in a metal band in one year time), having grown up moving around the world he was exposed to many different cultures, and his international heritage makes it difficult to say where he actually comes from. That is one of the reasons why his musical taste goes from metal, blues, acoustic and psychedelic rock to ambient, trip hop, chill out, reggae, dub, and eventually goa and psychedelic trance. It happened in one of those magic summer nights in Belgium when he had his first full blown dance floor experience and this music stirred sth deep in him. The result appeared in a few years time then he had a first DJ set in London in 2006, and since then he has been signed as a label DJ of progressive music, which is a bit on the dark side, for Arkona Creation Music & Art label in 2007.
